Real
Estate Hotline - Using Aliases
When you list a home on
your real estate
hotline, you have the option to create alias
listings for that property. This document details the
benefits of using the alias listings feature of your real estate
hotline.
This scenario shows how realtor Sally Clark would use alias
listings in her real estate hotline to help her maximize her
potential in real estate
Real Estate Hotline
on the Yard Sign
The most obvious
place Sally will advertise her real estate hotline is on the
sign in front of the house for sale. She calls her real
estate hotline, enters the administration menu, and creates
regular listing 1001 for one of her listings.
Real Estate Hotline
in the Newspaper
Sally then
creates alias 1002 for listing 1001. She places an
advertisement in a local newspaper and lists her real estate
hotline with the ad, but instead of using listing 1001, she uses
listing 1002. When people see the ad in the newspaper and
call Sally's real estate
hotline, they will hear the recording
for listing 1001, but the reports in Sally's online portal will
reflect a call for listing 1002.
Real Estate Hotline
on a Flyer
Sally prints
flyers to post at an apartment complex near the home for
sale. She creates another alias listing in her real estate
hotline and advertises listing 1003 on the flyer.
Analyzing Call
Statistics
If, after 2
weeks, Sally notices that she has received few calls to listing
1002 and many calls to listing 1003, she may determine that
instead of renewing the newspaper advertisement, she may want to
focus on advertising the property in the apartment complexes
near the listed home.
By carefully tracking
and observing her call statistics, Sally can learn what forms of
advertising work best for her. This real estate hotline
feature allows her to more wisely and efficiently spend her
advertising budget.
