Is there a setup fee for the real estate hotline?

As part of a current promotion, the $50 account setup and activation fee is being waived.

How much will my real estate hotline cost each month?

The single agent real estate hotline monthly rental is $39.99.  You will not be charged any per-minute usage fees, per listing fees, or toll fees for hotline usage.  $39.99 is your total monthly bill for the real estate hotline. 

The total monthly bill for the multi-agent hotline is $59.99 plus $20 for each agent above the 2 agent accounts that are included with the monthly rental.

Does the real estate hotline have per-minute usage fees? 

No.  You pay no per-minute usage fees on your real estate hotline.  Usage for your hotline is unlimited and does not create additional monthly costs.  Users who opt for a toll-free number are responsible for toll-free usage, billed to them by their 800 number provider.

Can my real estate hotline number be local to my home calling area? 

Where available, we will secure a local phone number on our national phone network for your real estate hotline.  We are able to obtain local phone numbers in most large cities.  Your credit card is not automatically charged upon signup, so if you sign up for a real estate hotline and a number is not available in your area, we will contact you before activating your account.

Can my real estate hotline be an 800 (toll free) number? 

You may choose to activate an 800 number for use on your real estate hotline.  Customers who opt for a toll-free number pay no additional fees to Alta Voice but are responsible for toll-free usage, billed to them by their 800 number provider. 

How do I sign up for my own real estate hotline? 

To get your own real estate hotline, follow the apply online link, and fill out the information on that form.  Upon the hotline activation (which typically takes one business day or less), you will receive an email from your account representative detailing the activation process.  The email will include information for billing and support in addition to the hotline number and information on getting started with your hotline.

What are aliases, and how can they benefit my real estate hotline usage? 

An alias is a listing number that points to a regular listing.  For example, you may setup listing 1000 in your real estate hotline and advertise your hotline and listing 1000 on a home's yard sign.  If you advertise that listing in a local newspaper, you could create an alias listing (1001, for example) that is an alias for listing 1000 and advertise listing 1001 in the newspaper.

When newspaper subscribers call your real estate hotline, they will dial listing 1001, but they will hear the recording you made for listing 1000.  In your account portal, you will see that call as a call for listing 1001, so you can identify how the newspaper advertisement helped sell that home.

You can create as many aliases per listing as you would like.  Other locations alias listings will be helpful are magazines, flyers, and information sheets.  By tracking your advertising effectiveness, you can maximize your sales while controlling your advertising budget.

Can I see who called my real estate hotline? 

Through your hotline's web portal, you can see the calls your real estate hotline received, when the calls were made, and what listings were played for each caller.  Additionally, if the call was placed from a publicly listed phone number, you can see the name and address of the caller.

What equipment must I buy to have a real estate hotline?

None.  Your real estate hotline can be setup promptly and requires no hardware for you to buy, lease, borrow, or maintain.  All necessary equipment is located in our secure and redundant data center.

How can I update the credit card I use to purchase my real estate hotline?

You can update your billing information at any time through the real estate hotline administration menu, or through your hotline's web portal.

How many listing extensions can I have on my real estate hotline?

The 4-digit listing extensions range from 0000 to 9999.  There is no limit to the number of extensions you can create in a month.

How many alias extensions can I have on my real estate hotline?

The 4-digit alias extensions use the same number range (0000 to 9999) as regular extensions.  Like regular extensions, there is no limit to the number of aliases you can create in a month.

Can my real estate hotline use my own personal greetings?

Yes!  Each real estate hotline comes with generic prompts to guide callers through your hotline.  However, you can record your own custom greetings to brand your hotline with your own voice. 

My real estate hotline has a Call Through feature.  What is Call Through?

After a callers hear information about one of your listings, they are prompted to press 1 if they want to contact you for more information.  When the Call Through option is enabled, their call will be immediately routed to you.  Otherwise, callers will be able to leave a message for you in your own personal voice mail box.

Can I really manage my real estate hotline from any phone?

Yes! Home, office, cellular, hotel...any touch tone phone will allow you to fully manage your real estate hotline.

How will I know when somebody leaves a voicemail on my real estate hotline?

You can choose to receive an email (to your cell phone or computer) when a new voicemail message arrives.  Also, when you enter the administration menu of your real estate hotline, you are notified immediately that you have new voicemail.  Additionally, the online portal home page shows the number of new and saved voicemail message in your mailbox.

Can I see which of my real estate hotline listings receive the most calls?

Yes. From the real estate hotline portal, you can see all of your active listings and how many calls each listing number has received.

Do you have a demonstration real estate hotline where I can hear a sample listing? 

Yes.  Call 770-320-0004, and when you are prompted for a listing number, enter 1234.
